In Strategic Procurement, you secure our supply of electronic components – with strong negotiation skills, technical understanding and solid procurement experience.

We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager (gn) to join our purchasing team at our production site in Fulda, starting immediately, on a part-time basis (20 to 30 hours per week).

Your Role

You further develop and implement the procurement strategy for electronic components and selected commodity groups
You expand our supplier portfolio, from market analysis to the approval of new suppliers
You lead annual, framework and contract negotiations and draft supply contracts and quality assurance agreements
You are responsible for supplier evaluation and development, working closely with the quality department
You identify supply risks such as allocations, obsolescence or single sourcing at an early stage and take countermeasures
You identify cost-saving potential and manage it using meaningful procurement KPIs
You are the go-to person for strategic supplier decisions for project purchasing, hardware development and product management

Your Skills

You hold a university degree, e.g. in business administration, technical business administration or industrial engineering, or have completed equivalent vocational training
You have several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the electronics industry
You have a good understanding of electronic components and their procurement markets
You have experience in contract design and supplier management
You have very good SAP and MS Office skills
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
You think strategically and work analytically and in a structured way
You are confident, a skilled negotiator and assertive
You work independently, take ownership and show initiative
